Students will build on the management accounting knowledge that they have acquired during studies at levels 2 and 3, whilst acquiring new knowledge and skills in the areas of taxation and credit management. There are three mandatory units:
- Applied Management Accounting
- Drafting and Interpreting Financial Statements
- Internal Accounting Systems and Controls
There are also two optional units that we teach:
- Personal Tax
- Credit & Debt Management
All five units are required in order to pass the qualification.
These are under the new AAT Q2022 qualification, which is available from 1st September 2022. This qualification is equivalent standard to a foundation degree.
Students are required to have completed the Level 3 Diploma in Accounting before commencing this course.
