The public and uniformed services industry includes many career opportunities for you to make a real difference, such as working in the Armed Forces, Police Service, Fire Service and many more.

 

Alongside classroom based lessons at the Oval Campus, these programmes include a strong focus on health and fitness, helping prepare you for selection tests. We offer a wide range of practical outdoor activities, exhibitions and visits to develop important skills such as teamwork and leadership.

Starting salaries for Police Officers are from £19,000 per year and a sergeant can earn between £36,000 and £41,000 per year. Private soldiers can earn between £17,000 and £28,000 per year.
