Supported Internship - Q106

Each student's Supported Internship is a bespoke study programme consisting of 1 day in college and 2-4 days (16 hours) in the work place. Students are matched to work placements that are sourced from a wide range of industries and students are supported as much or as little as required over the course of the academic year by a Job Coach until they are able to fulfil a job description supplied by the employer. We work with employers in a wide variety of industries including: Care, Catering, Retail, Planning, Engineering, Administration, Motor Vehicle and many more. Supported Internships are always set up with the intention and the understanding from the employer that if and when the student is able to fulfil the job description they will be taken on as a paid employee.
